This blog really does need a bit of a kick start again.

So I am working on a few album lists. It wouldn’t be a blog without an end of year list, right?

Also an “albums of the decade” list.

Actually screw that. People don’t read those lists because they wonder what you liked over the past decade. They really want someone who agrees with them right? I doubt many people would come up with the same list that’s in my head.
My list was by no means going to be groundbreaking. Just albums that were important to me and brought my musical taste to where it is now. So I’ll let them stay just that. In my own head. A decade is a long time, and apparently people are passionate about it!

Might still throw up 2009’s list though. It’s pretty much done anyway… I think.

The return?

I may start using this blog again to write reviews and such… if I feel like it. I’m once again left with lots of time on my hands. However I now have a very limited internet connection. That said though, I have had a lot more time to spend listening to music etc so I may want to write about it again soon. On the other hand though, I no longer have the easiest access to music either (no, I don’t mean downloading, while I am at home the only place I have to buy music is well, erm XtraVision – yes really – or the internet, and it’s an awful lot of hassle). So we’ll see what happens…

So I’ve decided to get myself a nice little tumblr blog. It just seems simpler, more to the point. Might stop me rambling on about nothing-ness. And encourage me to write things more often maybe? Hopefully.

Anyway I won’t go deleting this or anything. Who knows I might need it. And there are some old reviews and such I don’t want to delete anyway. So come join me over at my new home!

Passion Pit video

So this is “To Kingdom Come” then? I am thoroughly confused. (I think Stereogum is confused too) Anyway, whatever it’s called, it’s one of my favourite tracks from the album, Manners, and what an album it is. So listen to the song (I like the video) and don’t worry too much about what it’s called.

Visit Passion Pit’s myspace or the other thing.
Then do yourself a favour and buy Manners. You won’t regret it

Jenny Lewis – See Fernando

Remember here I said Jenny Lewis had a new video? Well now she has an even BETTER video for an even BETTER song AND I can embed it here. Woo!

Again I’m too lazy for more composing so here are links copied from previous post about Jenny.

Sing a Song For Them

Acid Tongue is available now and is awesome. As is Rabbit Fur Coat. Buy Jenny’s music from the usual places or your own usual places please.
